What does Skin UI do? Well, we all know that Palm OS is just so dull and plain looking out of the box that it needs a bit of sprucing up to have it
keep up with the times, well that is exactly what Skin UI does, it's the brainchild of Dimitry Grinberg and he is kind enough to release this app for
free!
From Dimitry Grinberg's post at 1src.com:
SkinUI is now freeware, as a little treat to all you guys. You've supported me and my programming for five years now, and I only hope that you
enjoyed this time at least as much as I did. Thanks.
This is a sort of an early farewall post, just a bit ahead of its time. nuRom for LifeDrive is done and will be released soon and SDHC driver for
Palms will be my last official project. I will, of course, continue to fix and update old projects, but unless something changes dramatically do not
forsee many new ones. I've done all I wanted, and I've had plenty of fun along the way.
why?
i am extremely worn out after this semester, the next few months after i move to Mountain View, CA, i plan to spend every weekend at the pool, reading
with my phone by my side - OFF!
Why this app? This app is just the one i am most proud of, it is also the biggest project i undertook under palmos. So i felt like sharing it.
After i rest up a bit, i might be back, though i am not sure. i am joining VMWare fulltime, and plan to get my MBA studying in evenings and weekends.
i am not sure how much free time i will have.
Long Live PalmOS!

My hats off to you Dimitry! Thanks!
